I'm Robyn, a therapist providing online counseling who is based in Lafayette, LA and offers therapy modalities such as EMDR, ERP, and IFS to my clients. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University, serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Louisiana, Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Military Clinical Counselor, and Certified First Responder Counselor. I work with people who are looking for someone to help guide them on their journey to something different. I tend to be relaxed in sessions & approach therapy as a partnership. However, I'm straightforward & direct with my clients but promise to always treat you with respect & compassion. I'm especially passionate about helping individuals, including service members & first responders, heal from trauma & complex trauma as well as OCD. As a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have undergone a variety of trauma-focused trainings such as but not limited to, EMDR, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (tf-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, & Written Exposure Therapy. I have also completed the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers (LASACT) program for addiction counseling & have a long history of working in substance recovery centers. In addition, I am currently enrolled in a doctorate program for Professional Counseling to further my expertise in the field. I am the co-owner of Clarté Counseling, LLC in Lafayette, LA & am further known for my work with Acadiana Veteran Alliance, The Overwatch Collective, The American Red Cross, & for providing continued education events to other therapists.
